Aprons in America with Special Guest Bobbe Schafer Interpretive naturalist, National Women’s History Project speaker, collector, pattern designer and business woman Bobbe Schafer will share the joys of aprons as an American folk art and use aprons as an avenue to learn about women’s historical roles, fashion trends and twentieth century American culture. The program and a fashion show of vintage aprons will intertwine with a delectable three course tea serving scones, savories and sweets treats. Guests will also tour Deepwood and our vintage quilt exhibit. .
