Art enthusiast, antique collector, dealer, appraiser, and educator Cindy Day of Et Cetera Antiques shares some tips and trade secrets. Period paintings will be brought to help train your eye. A must attend event!
April 3rd - Heritage Talk #3 Building the Whole through Bits and Piece 6-8pm
Join Bo Sullivan, historian at Rejuvenation and the owner of Arcalus Period Design in Portland, to explore how Victorian interiors are the sum of their many parts, using Historic Deepwood as a spontaneous case study. Bo will also share rare images of 1890’s homes and décor, many in color, drawn from the Arcalus Period Design Archive.
May 22nd - Heritage Talk #4 Architect Extraordinaire W.C. Knighton 6-8pm
Bob Clay joins us to talk about notable Oregon architect W.C. Knighton and some of the iconic structures he designed in Salem and across the state. Come and see images of his wonderful work as well as tour the home he built for Dr. Luke Port now known as Historic Deepwood Estate.
